Download Windows 11

If you already see the Windows 11 update in the "Windows Update" section of your PC, you won't need to download Windows 11. However, since Microsoft rolled out Windows updates quite slowly, it may take a long time for Windows 11 updates to reach all computers.

Microsoft has a separate page titled "Download Windows 11" for manually downloading Windows 11. Windows 11 can be downloaded from this page in multiple ways.

First of all, you can download Windows 11 Installation Assistant and install Windows 11 through it. There are also Windows 11 installation options for installing Windows 11 using USB or DVD. And you can also set up Windows 11 by downloading Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO file).

Rules for installing Windows 11

Microsoft has given the opportunity to install Windows 11 in multiple ways. If your computer passes the aforementioned Windows 11 support check, you can easily install Windows 11. (There are alternatives if you don't pass. No worries.)

Let's find out how to install Windows on a Windows 11 supported computer.

Method 1: Using Windows Installation Assistant

Rules for installing Windows 11

You can upgrade to Windows 11 from the current Windows version installed on your PC. First, enter the Windows 11 Download website and download the Installation Assistant by pressing the Download Now button under Windows 11 Installation Assistant.

After downloading, open Installation Assistant and install Windows 11 as shown on the screen. It is a very simple process.

Method 2: Using DVD or USB (pen drive)

To create a boot file to install Windows 11 on a computer, first enter the Windows 11 download website and download the tool you need to install Windows 11 using the Download Now button below Create Windows 11 Installation Media.

This tool can be used to create a bootable copy of Windows 11 on a blank DVD or USB drive (pen drive). The USB drive will need to have at least 8GB of storage to complete this process.

After creating a bootable USB or DVD using the Media Creation tool as shown on the screen, insert the USB drive or DVD into the computer on which you want to install Windows 11 and restart the device.

Then press the F12 key or F2 key on the keyboard to enter the boot menu when the manufacturer's logo appears when the computer is turned on. Note that the rules for accessing the boot menu vary from PC / motherboard company. When the computer is turned on, enter the boot menu according to the instructions displayed on the screen.

After the boot menu appears, select the option to boot from the USB drive or DVD (which you created). Then Windows 11 Installer will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Windows 11 install.

Rules for installing Windows 11 on unsupported or older computers

windows 11 requirements

If you want to check if your computer supports Windows 11, then you should see the text "This PC does not currently meet Windows 11 system requirements" or "The processor is not currently supported for Windows 11". Its standard system requirement is missing on your PC. However, you can still install Windows 11 in a special way.

As I said before, Microsoft does not suggest this method. However, if you follow it, you have to do it at your own risk. And if you install it in this way, you may not get the security and feature updates of Windows 11 in the future. You may not get some of the benefits of Windows 11 properly.

You can easily install Windows 11 by editing the Windows registry on unsupported computers. Let's find out how to install Windows 11 on an unsupported computer in three steps.

Step 1 - Download Windows 11 ISO

After entering the Windows 11 download website , select Windows 11 from the dropdown menu under Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) and click the Download button. Then select the product language and click on Confirm and then click on 64-bit Download.

Then the 5.1 GB ISO file will be downloaded. As the file is being downloaded, we have not set the required settings.

Step 2 - Edit the Windows registry of the current PC

You need to do the above mentioned strategy by editing the registry of the Windows setup that is currently given on your PC. To do this, click on the Windows Start menu, type regedit and open Registry Editor. Then enter Computer \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ Setup \ MoSetup by copying-pasting or navigating this address.

You can also follow this serial and enter the same address by selecting the options shown on the right side of the screen: Computer> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SYSTEM> Setup> MoSetup

Then click the right mouse button on the left panel, select New and click on DWORD (32-bit) Value . Then type “ AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU ” in the Value Name box and type 1 in the Value Data box and press OK and close the Registry Editor. See screenshot above.

Step 3 - Setup Windows 11

After downloading the IASO file, right-click on the file and select Open with Windows Explorer. You do not need to create a USB stick or DVD. If you open the Windows 11 ISO file with the help of Windows Explorer, the file will open as a virtual disk. Then open the Windows 11 setup file by double clicking and start the installation process.

If the change to Registry Editor is successful, you will receive a warning message instead of a rejection message when installing Windows 11. Then you can easily enter the process of installing Windows 11 by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
